The true test in married life and Jewish life is emuna. Many speak of having emuna (faith) but many do not realize what it is. Emuna is crucial to shalom bayis, it is crucial to moving forward with your connection with Hashem and your wife. Rabbi Arush illustrates in chapter 10 how emuna is crucial to personal correction during the times when a man feels he has been handed bad hand. This episode is not really gender exclusive to males. Women are also encouraged to listen to this episode as well unlike many of the other Garden of Peace episodes. The thing that is amazing about this episode is before Christopher knew this chapter of the Garden of Peace was about emuna he made the announcement at the beginning of the episode that before he ends this program in December, he will be going chapter by chapter through The Garden of Emuna.

This week's episode concludes the story from last week and the lesson wraps up the story in what caused the student to loose his first wife and his second wife. The same reason is why 90% of marriages in the Hebrew Roots end in a year on average (this statistic was confirmed by the census of three hebrew roots congregations in North Carolina which include: Beth Yeshua, Bondservant and Shofar of Ephraim). The teaching concludes with a second story about the husband who was able to turn his marriage around though his wife at the beginning was not observant of the Torah, she later came to teshuvah and emuna. Find out the right way and the wrong way to strengthen your marriage with a spouse who is not on the same level as yourself in terms of observance.

The internal Bayis Hagmigdash and the indwelling of the Ruach HaKodesh is important to have and to learn in order to have a successful marriage. Christopher speaks on the parallels of the spring and fall feasts in relation to learning the physical of the fall feasts to connect to the deeply spiritual, almost kabbalistic fall feasts and the parallels between them and marriage in terms of understanding the spiritual and the physical connections of observance. Christopher also reads a story from Rabbi Shalom Arush's book that is oh too familiar. The story of an unobservant spouse and how one such individual made the wrong choice of observance and remarried and the tragedy that followed because of his actions which stemmed from a lack of emuna and a want for head knowledge style of observance.
