![]() Christopher was asked by a friend if the Torah prohibits "profit" he was cited the verse Deuteronomy 23:19, so Christopher jumps into Deuteronomy 23 to put the passages into context. The conclusion is the Torah does not contradict Paul nor visa versa with this passage. But Christopher did come up with something very interesting in terms of Deuteronomy 23:21 where it discusses "interest" being collected from a "gentile". Yet, the Hebrew doesn't say "gentile", it doesn't use the words "goy" or "ger" instead it uses l'achin. Find out what this word means and how it blows to smithereens the Two House theology and One Torah theology. This is one of the many reasons it is important to learn Hebrew and Aramaic. ![]()

![]() In today's western society death is called "choice", the Jewish and Christian communities are allowing the ways of Egypt to creep into our society through what is socially acceptable. This is a crucial message as we approach Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, because we learn that within the Hebrew language of the Old Testament we have 5 words for "life" and the "soul" which are synonymous. And we have only 2 words for "death". This argument comes up every Rosh Hashanah and the error in this idea causes huge discrepancies in theology that causes the ideas of teshuva (repentance) and yetzirah (creation) to become null in void and causes the Jewish calendar to be the most inaccurate of all if one holds to the ideal of there only being 1 new year.
