![]() Christopher was asked by a friend if the Torah prohibits "profit" he was cited the verse Deuteronomy 23:19, so Christopher jumps into Deuteronomy 23 to put the passages into context. The conclusion is the Torah does not contradict Paul nor visa versa with this passage. But Christopher did come up with something very interesting in terms of Deuteronomy 23:21 where it discusses "interest" being collected from a "gentile". Yet, the Hebrew doesn't say "gentile", it doesn't use the words "goy" or "ger" instead it uses l'achin. Find out what this word means and how it blows to smithereens the Two House theology and One Torah theology. This is one of the many reasons it is important to learn Hebrew and Aramaic. ![]()
