![]() (by Rabbi Baw'naw formerly of Brutal Planet) PaRDeS Radio launched 3 years ago after I had dissociated myself from another radio station. The intention of PaRDeS Radio was very interesting in it's beginning. I simply wanted to air teachers whom I had learned from and whom I wanted to give a voice and many of them graced their air-waves during the first launch of PaRDeS Radio and I never personally thought it would have turned into the phenomenon it did. Within a few months we recorded several thousands of listeners simultaneously listening to the station that was ever evolving and the listeners not only stayed with us....but they grew. We were able to give a voice to new radio hosts and teachers many had not heard of before and for them to reach the audience they did we realized quickly we had something special. The past 3 months PaRDeS Radio has been off the air. The reason stemmed from realizing a need to make it better, and to improve in order to reach more in the orthodox world with the message of Yeshua. I also realized during this time, and was coming to terms with the fact that after 10 years of radio, it was my time to step aside from radio after doing over 1,000 radio episodes in my career it is time to step aside from my radio program Brutal Planet. This was a huge part of the equation as well to the new PaRDeS Radio. During the time I was teaching a few weekends ago in Atlanta, I did a teaching on Emuna, and I felt Hashem tell me, in terms of PaRDeS Radio, "It's time to re-launch". I thought, "But Father...we don't have enough hosts yet to relaunch". The Father said, "It doesn't matter....you have the right ones...help them to get their message out." And that is where we are today with the re-launch of PaRDeS Radio. If you click on the "Home" tab of this website, or click on www.NazareneMedia.net you will hear PaRDeS Radio, on PaRDeS Radio you will hear not only the best jewish music but also teachings by Rabbi Itzak Shapira (the author of the Return of the Kosher Pig) as well as Rabbi Yehezqel Italqi, Mark Biltz, Joshua Santana and some of my old programs as well. There are also several other "fill in" hosts as well until we find the right permanent hosts. But I think we are off to a great re-launch because we have the right people. One thing that is majorly different from the initial launch of PaRDeS Radio is unlike before there is no advertising. We are putting it all in Hashem's hands to sustain this radio station and we are confident He will if we remain open to his voice in terms of how to manage this station. Secondly, unlike the initial launch of PaRDeS Radio, we have over 120 hours of programming loaded into the radio server as opposed to 24 hours of programming loaded before in a random loop. So you can listen to PaRDeS Radio all week long for 24 hours a day and not hear the same program twice. Also, if you have the TuneIn Radio application on your smart phone, tablet, or mp3 device you can click the image below and listen anywhere in the world using the TuneIn Radio app. So enjoy the brand new PaRDeS Radio. Make sure to let us know in the comments section below what you think of the PaRDeS Radio re-launch.
